Abstract

This experience presents a study on the use of techno-pedagogical tools for the design of online courses for High School and Higher education, using the Universidad Virtual de Estado de Guanajuato as a reference. Surveys were carried out, in person and via e-mail to 37 full-time professors and subject lecturers. The results indicated that although the virtual learning environments offer various tools that enable attention to different learning styles, the common denominator has been on-site education. Given that 76% of the tools used correspond to readings, presentations and videos, means that the reader-writer and visual learning style is privileged. This paper proposes to incorporate resources that address auditory (such as podcasts) and kinesthetic styles (laboratories, multimedia interactivity), creating a means for exchange of best practices for the techno-pedagogical tools known and used by teachers.
