Abstract

In this interview Professor Stephen Downes identifies some characteristics of connectivism and of connectivists. He points out that a connectivist person tends to hold certain values: autonomy (making decisions on his own), diversity (complementing his own perspectives with those of others in order to have a broader view), openness (sharing thinking, problem solving and creative processes) and interactivity (understanding that networks atttain more than what individuals are able to do).
