Abstract

The Coordinación de Bachillerato a Distan (CBD) of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México has had the need to offer a quality, complete and updated baccalaureate program to meet the social demands of higher secondary education in the online mode to promote skills and significant learning in the students, contextualized and relevant to today’s world. In turn, the CBD has been prepared to provide technological support and academic advise for those institutions seeking to adapt the contents of the Baccalaureate program.

This paper aims to describe the implementation of a preparatory course of B@UNAM in an enrollment of approximately 17,000 students. The main challenges and difficulties experienced are also presented by the UNAM’s new CBD technological team, consisting of technology teachers to implement the course through the integration of a new institutional platform on a new server.
