Abstract

The challenge for virtual institutions to satisfy the demand of high school education in Mexico suggest a series of improvement in infrastructure, programs, educational resources, tutoring, etc., aimed for the students to have several options to conclude their education, but what about the students? Would they be ready? It is convenient to take a look at the protagonist and review problems that are taken from granted but that still prevail and that imply reflection about the effectiveness of introductory courses that facilitate adaptation, transit and permanence by acquiring skills for virtual education.
