Formal education is one of the main manifestations of growth for humans, so following up on the new teaching schemes, the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Hidalgo through Sistema de Universidad Virtual supports society requiring access to education by providing a new modality in its 2009 educational offerings. The main contributing aspects playing a key role are the online learning strategy through its own system within the student-centered education model using information technology as a tool that fosters flexible content integration and actors in the fundamental teaching process: learning.
From 2009 to date (2013), work has been done with 7 generations of students, some already having graduated. This has enabled guidelines to suggest the redesign of the virtual mode baccalaureate curriculum in order to seek greater flexibility and competitiveness at a national level.
