The Virtual Communities of Learning, a Didactic Route for Knowledge Builiding in High School Students • María Guadalupe Veytia Bucheli

Abstract

We present a proposal to incorporate learning virtual communities as a didactic route to allow knowledge building in high school virtual students. The work is divided into three sections: first, we define the term community, its importance and historical development; then we present the learning virtual community as a tool to work in a virtual learning environment in a society characterized by information and knowledge. Finally, we raise the proposal largely based on the model of Salmon and Marzano, and Kendall’s taxonomy.
