Abstract

Eighty years history into Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León (1933), it is necessary to focus on the relevant growth and quality of one of the ways in which secondary and higher education has been delivered to every single part of Nuevo Leon.

Eight decades after its foundation, it is common to hear at the UANL terms such as smart classrooms, remote classrooms, video conferencing, video streaming, gadgets, or other definitions such as "digital native students", etc. Learning and using tools as platforms or search engines is also commonplace, privileging the University’s own: NEXUS, SIASE or CODICE. A central purpose is to ensure students are not only capable of using a computer, but also other gadgets in the learning process.
