Collaborative E-learning in Virtual Education: Practical Strategies Applied at the Guanajuato Virtual University • Eduardo Martínez Negrete, Susana Anguiano Torres y María Josefina López Arreguín

Abstract

Performing collaborative learning is one of the main challenges that networking environment institutions face nowadays. Since our first years of operation at the Guanajuato Virtual University (UVEG) we have identified that our students have expressed certain difficulties in developing collaborative tasks. This article presents an outline about the observed difficulties, as well as some of the strategies accomplished by UVEG to allow both students and advisors to enhance the way to perform and evaluate collaborative working.
