Accompanying virtual students with disabilities

Student-centered education provides added value when it comes to people with disabilities, simply for the fact that all people deserve respect and decent treatment. But what happens with mentors and tutors when these people approach their computers with great determination to excel and continue to develop professionally and personally? In a situation like this, they should be more empathetic, respectful, considerate and warm-hearted.
In the case of Virtual Advisers there is a great commitment to accompany and encourage pupils in their subjects. In order to undertake an excellent role, one must prepare academically, become a professional in their area and put oneself in the student’s shoes.
