Connectivism and ecologies for distance learning inside Web 2.0
The incursion of ICT’s in education has transformed the way human beings learn, so it is necessary that educational institutions, particularly those concerned with distance education, include within their methodologies new theoretical systems that take into account learning through the use of electronic devices. Connectivism as a current theoretical model suggests an option for development of ecologies in line with the digital age. In this paper we briefly present an educational platform proposal that was developed based on the ideas of Connectivism using Web 2.0 applications.
